Cherish all the people who ask for nothing but your companion

Not all relations are blood related; some are much more than that. That’s why it is best to cherish all the people who ask for nothing but your companion. We all have relatives and in-laws as part of our Social Circle. But often times our friends, colleagues, friend’s friends, our parent’s friends, unrelated connection turned like relatives, acquaintances and so on are the ones we are way closer to us than our family (a case-to-case basis depending on family background).

Maybe there are just some relations that are meant to be. To people who walk into our life, giving us a steer of direction, making our day joyful, a listener, adventurous buddies and to whatever meaning to our mundane life. They may not blood related but fate happens to bring us together.

Do you guys happen to believe with the say “Everything happens for a reason”. I for a fact would always connect that to my journey of life. But anyways, that is not the subject of the post but my dear friend Jenny as one of my constants. We are both Licensed Architects with different paths of life but despite everything, I would always be grateful for her companion as she is one witty and spontaneous friend you could ever ask for. Her bright smile just radiates her personality, who truly knows how to care for her friends and love ones. I often feel in debt with her generosity, huhu

But what’s impactful for me was that we became each other’s listener of stories about life, making our date meaningful every time we get a chance to meet, it would be nice if you could follow her IG account @chewyykimchi_pom and my IG too just in case @benz.sy you want some dose of positivity.

Our latest date was 20 May 2022. Bottom photo is another angled shot of her that we had from SOBAN, the day we hadn’t took any photo together, bummer but with regards to the food, I would honestly recommend this restaurant since they have unlimited refill of great side dishes and drinks, their meat may not be unlimited BUT (yess, a big BUT) there is something with their meat that makes it tasty, melt in the mouth like experience~ probably they had it with the right portion of fat; and let’s not forget to put a room for the FREE dessert!

Ar. Jenny runs their family business along Roosevelt Ave., near Munoz Market namely JJJo Trading Co. That’s why inquiring construction materials is a breeze for me to ask in case I needed one, so if you’re looking for a trusted hardware might as well drop by their store if you’re near the area. I, Ar. Denden on the other hand, am one of the Principal Architects of MSSW & Associates – our design firm may not be as old as Ar. Jenny’s company but our team can create the best solution for any space given for any project, name it and just drop a message at our Facebook page.

But a quick recap again, as to why I made this subject title “to Cherish all the people who ask for nothing but your companion” was because — despite a short timeframe of being together, our relationship felt like we’ve known each other from childhood.

We were never been that close in college whom I met her in second year and we were never in a same group of friends since I’m too busy with extra-curricular activities. We then got shuffled on third year and I totally never had a chance to have intimate exchange of views about life as we went along with our college year, I would probably give a simple wave of Hi as my usual cheery gesture to everyone. Then graduation came, 2015 – where everyone was excited to graduate as each and everyone has their own goals in life and definitely to achieve/pursue the title of being an architect and most especially create great projects under one’s name. Fast forward to 2019, the year we met again and had our first meal together at YAOI! such a sumptuous meal indeed and this was our first time hearing each other’s sentiments about life in which this exchange of views gave us some breakthrough with our bond.

So, after our first date last 16 Oct 2019 (above photos) we had several occasions together and got to introduce her to my friends as well. Here are a few clips of our moments together while bridging her to a possible soulmate until she somehow met the one 😉

She definitely fits the quote that I made her as my subject photo. BTW, I also got to meet her lovely family as well that made me feel like home. Truth to be told, crazy journey of my life and my family background is like one of the shows that can be broadcasted at Maalala Mo Kaya (MMK, a known documentary TV which meant “memories”).

Ar. Jenny is a one of the “for keeps” friend category and boldly sharing my experience with her in this blogpost. My website is still under construction as I plan to post my experiences, a way for me to immortalize my photos as I had an experience of losing all of my great photos from a single broken external hard drive.

May some of my posts give some spark to you as well, I’ll try my best to insert a bible verse on every post since I know He knows best for us and I would boast Him as much I can. This is a personal website intended to share my experience so I have no intention to brag what I have but to keep the memories alive, most of my posts are uploaded late from the date of event.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

We may experience rough patches along the way in our life but trust the Lord with all your heart as He will lead you to great people for a reason, probably to give you a smile while fighting those battles you carry. I on the other hand, I may not have any parents anymore to guide me but I would always consider anyone as angels sent by Him to comfort me.

But before I end this post, Ar. Jenny gave me some treat before we parted ways since she knows I have 2 younger SYblings that I am taking care. Thought to post this as well since their product was good for a first try – if I am not mistaken, this is a melon pan.
