Overview
This project presents a truly unique challenge, involving three siblings who jointly own a property and wish to construct a two-storey house with a twist. Each sibling will have their own loft room while sharing common areas such as the kitchen and living spaces. The property’s irregular shape adds complexity to the design. To meet the requirements and preferences of all siblings, the house design must strike a balance between individuality and shared spaces. Additionally, it must adhere to a Spanish-style look, consistent with the architectural requirements of the village. The design elements on the exterior include the use of stone materials, wood slats, and a neutral beige palette that pays homage to modern Spanish heritage.
The design concept for this unique two-storey house is to blend individuality with communal living. It incorporates elements of Spanish architectural heritage on the exterior while accommodating the unique tastes and needs of each sibling in their loft rooms. The shared spaces will be designed to promote interaction and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
